Meltdown@ What Happens in the Brain – and How We Can Help
When children fall apart emotionally, their behavior is telling us that they are overwhelmed by the situation. The most important thing we can do is to remain calm ourselves, which is of course much easier said than done! In this closing session, you will learn how the brain reacts to strong emotions and explore how to provide the positive guidance children really need from us during a meltdown. Leave with the knowledge and strategies to handle future meltdowns with confidence and skill.
