It’s a very complex process, however….there are many things you can do daily in your classroom to help young children develop this vital skill! What you do today for young children impacts how they make plans, set goals, and function on a day to day basis!! About Jenice

Jenice oversees the Special Education programing for elementary schools in the Northside Independent School District in San Antonio. Prior to her current position, she served as a Pre-School Educational Specialist at the Education Service Center, Region 20. Jenice also has been a professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio where she taught Special Education and Early Childhood courses. She holds a Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Southwest Texas State University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
